How do phenotypes evolve?

We try to understand how genes and environments interact with each other to shape phenotypic traits and their evolution. We use a range of approaches – from quantitative genetics and genomics to behavioural ecology – and we study lots of different traits in lots of different animals.

We are based at the University of Exeter’s Centre for Ecology and Conservation.
