Welcome to our first blog of Autumn! We hope that you’re starting to find your feet with settling in. Many of you are starting to ask about financial arrangements for your accommodation. So today’s blog is looking at how to pay.
Payment dates
We work on an installment plan at Exeter, where you pay your accommodation fees termly. We try to tie this in with student loan payments. Our payment schedule for this academic year can be seen below:

You are also able to pay your fees in one full sum (if you so wish!) However, we do not offer any discounts for doing so.
Nominated Properties
If you are with one of our nominated providers, then the contract and payment dates are between yourself and the provider, as per your contract. If you have any issues making payments, or need some clarification then please contact the provider directly to make alternative arrangements. You can find their details here.
Problems with Payments
If you have any issues with paying your accommodation fees or have any financial queries to contact the Finance team directly on 0300 555 0444 (UK) or+441392 724724 (International), you can also email them via SID@exeter.ac.uk
Please do not worry, our finance team are able to come up with alternative arrangements if you need be. Additionally, you may wish to look into our success for all fund which was created to help those who have been experiencing financial hardship or unexpected expenses.
Accommodation drop-in sessions
We’re really enjoying being back on campus and meeting some of you in person! If you have an accommodation-related query please do feel free to come and see us.
We are available Monday to Friday at the following times:
Term one – 10:00am – 3:00pm
Just head to the SID desk in the Forum on Streatham campus and they will get you booked in for an appointment.
