Science for Society and Policy
We believe that scientific data must be translated into actionable strategies. Our outreach program focuses on three areas:
- Farmer Engagement: Working with local farms and the Instituto Ouro Verde to identify “carbon-smart” practices like silvopastoral systems.
- Policy Support: Contributing data to improve global carbon estimates and helping Brazil meet its Paris Accord commitments.
- Education: Building on our Amazon outreach programs and outreach material to inspire the next generation of ecologists.
