Feeling like you belong is a really important part of thriving at university. This doctoral project looks at whether neurodivergent students see themselves as capable learners who belong in higher education and how their earlier educational experiences may affect that.
This project uses collections of found objects to represent how neurodivergent students see themselves, and will end with an online research exhibition to display photos of these collections to the public. It will create lots of different ways to take part, and there will be opportunities to help the researcher with the analysis process.
