26 January 2024Students on the MA Film & Screen Studies produced a public-facing exhibition as part of the Archival Encounters module.
Using artefacts from the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum, supported by the curator Phil Wickham, the students were tasked with collaboratively curating a digital exhibition of materials on a theme of their own choosing. This year they opted to focus on tie-in and companion books.
The exhibition can be viewed at https://humanities-research.exeter.ac.uk/archivalencounters/
Each year, students will focus on a different type of material in the Museum collections, and the resulting exhibitions will broaden interest in the world-class archival holdings at the Museum.
