The University of Exeter’s 2030 Digital Strategy sets out our vision to become the most accessible and connected university destination for any user. We believe in being transparent and open about everything that we do and want to ensure our users understand what we are doing and why we are doing it.
The University is embarking on its digital transformation journey and the Digital team are driving the journey through being user and data-led in everything that we do, making decisions based on user insight and real data to ensure we are driving valuable change for our users.
We are also applying agile methodologies to everything that we do, in the way we work and even the way in which we communicate – we work in sprints, iterating our work as we go, telling the story of what we do as it unfolds. This way of working and communicating enables our collaborative and co-creative approach to delivering the strategy. We ensure we are collaborating with users from across the University to deliver, working together to make sure digital transformation at Exeter is done with our users, rather than done to them. We co-create with colleagues and students on solutions that bring them value, and even work with a network of Digital Advisors from industries outside of HE to learn from them and apply this to the delivery of our strategy.
We recently created a selection of films to bring to life our digital strategy and allow our users to increase their understanding of the University’s digital strategy vision and how we are delivering it. Take a look at our Digital Strategy film below and get in touch with the team if you have any questions!
