Last month we hosted Times Higher Education’s Digital Universities UK event (DUUK) on our Streatham campus. The three day event was a huge success, receiving lots of positive feedback following and during the “excellent”, “inspiring” and “very well organised” event.

Last November the University of Exeter hosted the first event of Jisc’s Demonstrating Digital Transformation 2023/24 event series, focused around how we are turning the University’s digital vision into reality. Jisc have shared a feature article about the day.

In the Summer of 2022 the University launched our 2030 Digital Strategy, setting out our vision to become the most accessible and connected university destination for any user. This blog focuses on the first problem the University’s digital strategy aims to solve: Competitiveness.

With a new year beginning we spent some time reflecting on the past year in the Digital team at UoE. Agile ways of working demonstrate the importance of having time to reflect on what went well and what we can learn after each sprint, so the end of the year is no different. This week we had our October Quarterly Away Day. This is a time when the whole team gets together in person to celebrate the past quarter and discuss plans for the upcoming quarter, sharing our goals and ensuring everybody is on board with our KPI’s and targets.
