‘Digital’ can mean so many things and can be applied to anything, and there’s always new things to learn in the digital world. This can be overwhelming, but also so exciting. In UoE Digital, we want to share knowledge and skills with everyone, enabling everyone to become digitally skilled.
Introducing our regular Upskill Experiences: bitesized virtual sessions where an expert on an area teaches you about something digital related – from Design Thinking to Mural, attended by over 470 colleagues and students so far!
One attendee from the Bitcoin, Blockchain and Crypto session commented “I learnt a lot about blockchain that i didn’t know – an entire hours worth of knowledge”.
And we recently had a popular Mural 101 session led by Digital’s UX Researcher and self-taught Mural expert Amelia Johnson: “I liked how this session was interactive, it was great to put the tool into practice”.
We have loads of great sessions coming up, including an Introduction to Design Thinking, and Agile ABC’s – visit our sharepoint site for more information.
Currently these are open to our colleagues and students only, but we hope to open them up to external audiences in the future, so look out for more on that soon!
