The landscape of legal technology and the development of AI is constantly evolving and impacting on the work of lawyers and clients. We are keen to reflect on and discuss how best to engage the local legal profession in discussions around strategies for upskilling and developing the profession.
This workshop offers an important opportunity to engage with a range of stakeholders. It will enable a discussion about how technology affects and impacts strategic development within firms as well as the region as a whole. The event offers an opportunity to connect and share approaches to innovative development and possibilities for the future.
The Law School at the University of Exeter in association with the Devon and Somerset Law Society Education & Training Sub Committee would like to invite you to attend a regional roundtable. The introduction of the SQE, the growing use of AI and the increasing opportunity presented by degree apprenticeships are shaping a new future for legal education. This is also informed by increasing emphasis on ethics and new slants on skills as we use generative AI more efficiently. We are keen to reflect on and discuss how best to engage the local legal profession in discussions around strategies for upskilling and developing the profession.
