“In Conversation with Dr Christian Hirst”

Please note there is a cost to attend of £1.50

The Diplomatic Hub is honoured to host Minister-Counsellor David Hirst from the Australian High Commission in London The Minister will be giving a talk on the value and significance of the Indo-Pacific, an increasingly salient region in light of emerging geopolitical competition with China, as well as sharing his experiences of working in diplomatic missions in the region. There will also be time for a Q&A session.

If you are interested in this then please register for our event! Following the talk, you will also have the opportunity to meet and speak to the Minister directly in a networking session! This will be catered with plenty of tasty food and drinks.

‘Man Down’ but not out – talking resilience with Mark Ormrod MBE

Join Honorary Graduate, Mark Ormrod MBE as he shares his insights into resilience and how we can harness positivity through life’s challenges. A former Royal Marine, Mark was injured serving in Afghanistan resulting in the amputation of both legs and his right arm. Now, holding several gold medals from the Invictus Games, Mark is a motivational speaker, author and coach, who uses his own remarkable story to help others develop resilience and positivity in their lives. Full details on the Eventbrite page


Industrial Placement Year Opportunity
