2026 Summer Programme: Gain an insight to US legal practice with Columbia Law School

If you’re interested in gaining an insight to U.S. legal practice you may wish to apply for a three-week program run by Columbia Law School. It offers an accessible, yet rigorous, introduction to U.S. legal institutions and business law. Presented by preeminent scholars affiliated with Columbia Law School and other world-renowned institutions, it is designed for law students and recent graduates from around the globe but also open to practitioners and others interested in the topic.

The University of Exeter is a partner in the Columbia Law School summer programme scheme which enables Exeter students to join the programme with a discounted rate.

About the program:

This three-week, non-credit program is designed for students but open to practitioners, academics, and others as well. Participants hear from expert practitioners, visit cultural sites, and receive an official Certificate of Participation.
