The LSE Law School is proud to host the annual LSE-Featherstone Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Moot competition for a tenth year, at LSE on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 March 2026.

The competition is dedicated to the consideration of areas of sexual orientation and gender identity law. The moot brings bring together LGBTQ+ and ally students, campaigners, practitioners, and members of the judiciary for the oral rounds as well as for networking events, socials, and workshops.

Registration is now open and will close on Saturday 31 January 2026. As ever, there is no entry fee. More details, including the registration form, can be found here: https://www.lse.ac.uk/law/community/featherstone-moot

Following the closing of registration, teams will be told for which side that they need to prepare a skeleton. Skeleton arguments are not due until Friday 13 February 2026.  The moot problem will be published in on Monday 12 January 2026
