We are pleased to inform you that our Foundation is organizing the 17th edition of its Summer School in partnership with Paris-Panthéon-Assas University. The 2026 edition will take place in person in Paris from July 6 to July 24, 2026.

The Civil Law Foundation is an internationally recognized institution dedicated to legal cooperation and acknowledged as serving the public interest. It works to promote civil law and highlight its strengths, while encouraging exchanges and dialogue between legal systems in France and abroad.

The ambition for this Summer School is to provide all participants with in-depth training on civil law, its evolution, and its influence on the legal and economic models currently being developed around the world. This is a unique certificate-granting program, validated by a final examination, at the conclusion of which successful participants are awarded a Certificate of Training in Civil Law, issued by Paris-Panthéon-Assas University.

In addition to the academic courses, these three weeks will give participants the opportunity to discover leading French legal institutions and to meet legal professionals, all within a multicultural environment.

Courses will be available in French, English and Spanish, and are open to anyone (students and legal professionals) who has completed at least three years of legal studies.
