Mooting Opportunity – Landmark Chambers Property Moot 2026

Expressions of interest to Adam Nicholls by Wednesday 30 September

Exeter Law School is entering a team of two students in the thirteenth annual Landmark Chambers Property Moot. The annual Property Moot Competition provides students who are particularly interested in property law with an opportunity to develop their understanding of the subject and to gain some insight into the realities of practice through meeting members of Landmark’s Property Team.

What’s involved

Round 1 – In person at Landmark Chambers, London, on Saturday 7 November 2026. The day also includes a property law workshop with members of Chambers’ Property Team and a Q&A session with their Pupillage Committee on pupillage applications.
Rounds 2 and 3 – held online, provisionally 8 December 2026 and 14 January 2027.
Grand Final – at the Royal Courts of Justice, provisionally 11 February 2027.

The two highest-scoring advocates in the Grand Final each receive £500 and a mini-pupillage at Landmark Chambers. All moot problems are property-based. Chambers is aware that some areas of property practice are unfamiliar to undergraduates and will take that into account.

Who it’s for:
Second or Third year LLB students or students on the LLM.
