WHAT IS AN OPPORTUNITY BURSARY?
- As Sutton Trust alumni, you can apply for a bursary between £2500 and £5000, which will enable you to access opportunities that boost your employability.
- The money can be used to fund a range of activities such as an overseas internship or work placement, a professional qualification or a voluntary role, by reducing the need for paid part-time work.
To be eligible you need to:
- be an alumnus of the Sutton Trust or the Social Mobility Foundation’s Aspiring Professionals Programme with JP Morgan
- have completed at least one year of undergraduate study
- be enrolled onto an undergraduate or postgraduate course in the academic year 2023/24
- be studying at a UK university.
60% of bursaries will be awarded to students from Black and other Ethnic Minority backgrounds, and within this 30% will be awarded to Black students. We encourage applications from students of these backgrounds.
