The Times 2TG National Mooting Competition

2 Temple Gardens is delighted to launch The Times/2TG Moot 2022-2023.

Now in it’s 8th year, this prestigious national competition is open to all students, with a focus on improving social mobility and the removal of barriers from accessing the Bar.

Applicants will have a unique opportunity to develop their oral and written advocacy and moot before Senior Advocates and members of the Judiciary at the highest level. All finalists will receive cash prizes and mini-pupillages at 2 Temple Gardens.

Hogan Lovells – Campus Ambassadors

Hogan Lovells is offering campus ambassador roles to current first year students. Ambassadors will earn £600 and receive training and support to represent the firm at your campus.

As you shed light on our opportunities for fellow students, you’ll also be creating opportunities for yourself. You’ll have constant communication with our graduate recruitment team, giving you the chance to show us your personality and skills.

Lester Aldridge Training Contracts:

Applications for training contracts starting in 2023 or 2024 at Lester Aldridge are still open until 30 April! Training consists of four six-month seats in a variety of contentious and non-contentious teams. You’ll be given the chance to work with high-profile commercial clients, high net-worth private clients and exceptional lawyers.

Lester Aldridge is a full-service law firm, advising commercial organisations and private individuals on a regional, national and international scale, from offices in London, Southampton and Bournemouth. The firm’s core practice areas are real estate, dispute resolution, private client, commercial services, and banking & finance.


Ashfords South West Training Contract 2024

Applications are now open for you to be considered for the Ashfords Training Contract, commencing in 2024.

To be eligible to apply, you must be in your penultimate or final year of your law degree, or final year of your non-law degree.

Ashfords is recognised nationally as a leading provider of legal, regulatory and related professional services. They deliver commercially focused advice to clients across a range of industries and sectors.

As an Ashfords Trainee, you will experience first-hand the work of a full-service law firm. They offer hands-on experience, early responsibility and client involvement. Trainees also play an integral role in wider firm initiatives, such as assisting with business development and marketing events, which provide exposure to our diverse client base.
