MA English Literary Studies (American and Atlantic Studies Pathway)

If you want to join our MA in English Literary Studies but are looking for a particular North American angle, you may want to apply for the American and Atlantic Studies pathway. This would mean that of your four taught modules on the MA, at least two would be focused on North American and/or Atlantic literatures and cultures. In 2022/23 we are offering two modules on this pathway:

• The Cultures of American Modernism
• The Literature of Cold War America

On the American and Atlantic Studies Pathway you would also complete an MA dissertation on a North American or transatlantic topic.
