Alison has an interdisciplinary approach to research, having completed a PhD in Education where she investigated the factors affecting the resilience and professional wellbeing of long-serving secondary school teachers in England. Prior to embarking on her doctoral research she worked for many years in the further education sector, with roles including teacher, manager and senior leader, followed by self-employed work including training, coaching and consultancy.
