Karen is the co-Chief Investigator for Care Under Pressure 3 with Dr Daniele Carrieri.
Karen researches the workplace-based experiences of doctors-in-training, providing insights into the pressures they experience at different career stages. She has undertaken research for the GMC and NIHR on the mental ill-health of medical students and doctors, and the preparedness for practice and emotion regulation of junior doctors.
