MyExeter is the new app made by the University of Exeter for Exeter students. We want to improve the student experience at Exeter, so we’ve developed MyExeter based on student insight, with continuous user feedback gathered throughout the development process. We’ll be releasing updates to MyExeter regularly based on your feedback! You can stay up to date with the latest release notes on our website.
Here’s everything you need to know about using the MyExeter app.
1.Why have we made a new app?
We built the MyExeter app to help improve the student experience at Exeter. Developed in-house by our very own Digital team, we can make sure MyExeter is exactly what our students need and want. We are continuously gathering feedback from students, holding workshops and usability tests, and implementing this feedback to improve MyExeter and your overall experience at the University.
As MyExeter is the new primary app for students, make sure you’ve downloaded the MyExeter app from the Apple App or Google Play stores. This app is different to ‘iExeter’ which you might also see in app stores for now while we work on bringing all the remaining essential functionality over to MyExeter.
2. One app for everything essential
MyExeter has everything you need to navigate your life at the University of Exeter.
There are some students who may still need to use the one-time-code check-in function within the old iExeter app for a period of time while we work to migrate everything across to the MyExeter app. Only if you are informed that this impacts you by your lecturer or programme office, should you use iExeter app for this function.
3. Support from the Digital Hub
The Digital Hub is here to support you with using MyExeter. Whether you need in-person help on our Penryn, Streatham or St Lukes campuses, or would prefer booking a session online, the Digital hub is here to help you get the most out of the app. Here are some of the Digital Hub’s top tips for Exeter students!
4. Tell us what you think
MyExeter has been built based on student insight and feedback, ensuring it’s everything you need and want to see in an app. We really appreciate any feedback, whether it’s reporting a bug or suggesting a new feature. You can leave feedback via the feedback form in the ‘More’ menu in MyExeter.
Students, get involved!
We value your help to ensure everything we are working on responds to your needs at University. Students of Exeter can register your interest in shaping the things we work on via this form.
