Last November the University of Exeter hosted the first event of Jisc’s Demonstrating Digital Transformation 2023/24 event series, focused around how we are turning the University’s digital vision into reality. It was a day filled with thought-provoking discussions, valuable networking, and sharing of ideas and challenges with delegates across the industry.

Throughout the day we split into smaller groups, each discussing different topics relevant to digital transformation and the University of Exeter’s digital strategy, and the day finished on an engaging panel discussion. Our Performance Analyst, Rebecca Jeavons, wrote this blog post about her experience of participating in her first ever panel discussion at this event. We also shared our key takeaways from the event in this additional blog post, focusing on the outcomes from each of the round table discussions throughout the day.

Jisc recently shared a feature about the exciting event on their website, highlighting the event and the University’s “creative approach” to delivering and engaging in our digital strategy; from true co-creation, to productising our strategy into a tin of baked beans. Take a look at the Jisc article here to learn more about the event and Jisc’s takeaways from the day.
