Exeter and Gulf Pharmacy Practice Collaboration (ExeG PPC)

Amad has over 15 years of experience in pharmacy practice, higher education, and research spanning three countries: Iraq, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Canada. In 2006, Amad obtained his first PhD in Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry from the University of Baghdad. In 2008, he moved to the UAE, and was appointed as a faculty member in the Pharmacy College at Ras Al Khaimah Medical and Health Sciences University. In 2017, Amad immigrated to Canada, and 2019 completed a master’s in education at University of Toronto. Currently, he is completing a PhD in Higher Education in the field of Health Professions at the University of Toronto, where his research focuses on the role of international accreditation play in clinical training practices in pharmacy schools. Also, Amad is a Senior Lecturer at Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom.
