‘Temporalities of Nuclear Infrastructures’ is a PhD studentship funded by the UK Nuclear Waste Services and the University of Exeter (2023 – 2027).

Led and supervised by Dr Leila Dawney and Prof. Karen Bickerstaff, the studentship is held by Sebastian Koa (2023 – 2027) and Caitlin Mullin (2024 – 2027). Their research explores the multiple, complex, and intersecting temporalities of nuclear energy and waste across sites in the UK. Sebastian’s research focuses on Hinkley Point C in Somerset, whilst Caitlin’s research looks at Sellafield. Please see their individual project pages for more information.
