An innovative health hub for the farming community developed by a SPHERE project team has won the ‘Working Together Differently Award’ at the South West Integrated Personal Care Awards. The Farmers Health Hub is a service designed to provide farmers with easier and more acceptable access to health and wellbeing support by bringing services directly to the Holsworthy livestock market. Dr Gemma Brailey, Principal Investigator on the Three Schools Prevention programme project, said ‘We are absolutely delighted to receive this award. The Farmers Health Hub is a testament to what can be achieved when research is genuinely co-produced with the people it is designed to serve.’
