The University of Exeter offers a range of products and services to improve the student experience at Exeter. One service we offer is the Digital Hub, an online and in-person hub staffed by students providing students and staff with help using digital tools. Are you a prospective student wanting to know more about how Exeter supports your digital learning? Or are you a current student or member of staff wanting to know more about how the Digital Hub can help you? Here is everything you need to know about our Digital Hub!

What is the Digital Hub and who is it for?

The Digital Hub is available to support students and staff with using digital tools at University, whether you need advice on the tools you should be using to ace your degree, or need help troubleshooting a digital issue, the Digital Hub can help. We provide face-to-face support from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday with a presence on the Streatham and Penryn campuses as well as an online SharePoint site with a library of handy how-to guides and videos to help you resolve your issue at home. You can also book time with one of our experts, so whatever the level of support you need, we can help. Our presence on campus means that you can easily come and visit us after a lecture or when you’re in the library.

Access help from anywhere!

Our bookable virtual sessions allow you to chat with us even if you’re working or studying remotely. In these sessions, we can talk through your issues in a dedicated Teams meeting or in person on campus. We will also have in-person and online bookable sessions for international students who need specific support with the Check-In feature within the new university app.

What can we help with?

We can help you with a huge range of digital issues, including accessing and downloading digital study support tools, on campus Wi-Fi connection and printing, multi-factor authentication, University account password resets, and using Office 365 applications. We are the first port of call for students, staff and guests who are having digital issues or who are interested in learning more about the digital tools available to them.
